We travel through Oak Creek Canyon and hear about the history and geology of this beautiful place. We climb to the Moggollon Rim and drive through the Ponderosa pine forests into Flagstaff. We continue up over the side of the San Francisco Peaks to 8300 feet, past the aspen groves. When we reach the village of Tusayan we see the Imax presentation of Hidden Secrets of the Canyon. We then have lunch at the Canyon, after which you can walk along the canyon rim and see the magnificent rock formations and wildlife. We will drive along the canyon’s east rim and make stops along the way for many different view points for to photograph or just enjoy. While returning we can stop at the Navajo trading post in Cameron and you can buy authentic Native American gifts and crafts.
