Plant Your Seeds

Today is a beautiful rainy day in Sedona.  The clouds are hanging down over the red rocks making it look very mysterious and magical.

We are now deep into the spring season and still have time to plant the seeds for the coming year.  What do you want to grow?  Do you want to expand your spiritual life, start a new career,  a new business or learn to love yourself more?  Since everything around us in Nature is all about new beginnings what better time could there be to begin anew your life’s journey?  Do not be discouraged or afraid.  Breath in the fresh new air and let hope and joyful anticipation fill your heart.  Remember that you are God and the Universe’s favorite child and don’t be scared to ask for all you need.

As we near the end of winter, we come to a time in which we can begin to decide what seeds we want to plant in the coming spring. Now is also a time to gather the tools and seeds to be prepared for this season of beginning new things.  This can include projects, new jobs, businesses and relationships.

We are planning our dates for our Southwest Sacred Journeys for the spring, summer and fall.  Also our Hawaiian teachings experience in October.  We will have Grandmother Kapua Arlene Phelan and Lynn Molina whose linage goes backs hundreds of years in Hawaii.  They will be training in Kahi Loa and other areas of Hawaiian spiritual practices.

New Winter Season

We now come into the winter which can be a time to recover from the hectic year behind us.  Even though we evolved in the seasons throughout man’s existence we forget to honor them in the rhythms of our lives.  This a time to rest as much as possible and do only what is necessary to sustain us.

We are taught to create inside projects so that we don’t feel diminished by not being busy all the time.  This is a case of our value being assigned by the task not by who we are separate from what we do.   We live like this even when no one is watching.

This is a wonderful time to remind yourself of your true value as child of God.
